Threat AssessmentWe understand deviant and dangerous behaviour. We are professionals in assessing threats and know what is necessary to manage risks related to threatening communications, stalking and other forms of misconduct or abnormal behaviour. We are aware that violence in the workplace leads to fear and an unsafe working environment, and is an increasing problem for organisations. With our professional, tailor-made threat management strategies we contribute to a safe and secure workplace.
-
IntegrityWe contribute to existing integrity screening processes by providing a psychological assessment of potential or current employees in sensitive positions. Besides the standard ‘background check’, this behavioural examination gives the client a reliable overall view and understanding of the circumstances under which the risk of unwanted behaviour such as financial misconduct will be increased. We outline the potential risks arising from the individual in question and provide a strategic plan on how to identify these risks and address any problems at an early stage.

StalkingExecutives of organisations, celebrities and other public figures are at risk of becoming victims of stalking and threats. On a different level, stalking also occurs in the workplace and sometimes domestic violence can spill out into the work environment. In most cases the psychology of the offender plays a major role and it is this that has to be evaluated in order to develop successful interventions. Threats are assessed, risks are identified and a practical risk management plan is offered.

Offender ProfilingWe understand the psychological dynamics of violent crime such as murder, sexual assault, arson and threat. A psychological assessment of a criminal act provides investigators with insight into the characteristics of the unknown offender and gives direction to further investigation. By providing practical advice and professional guidance to the subsequent investigation, we contribute to fast, successful crime solving and violence prevention.

Unsolved CasesA surprising number of people suffer from the loss of a beloved family member or friend as a result of a violent crime. Their suffering is all the more if the offender cannot be identified, arrested or brought to justice. Forensic sciences, such as modern DNA analysis, forensic anthropology and forensic archeology, along with behavioural sciences, have gone through major developments. Today a psychological assessment of historic information can lead to new insights into the sequence of criminal events and characteristics of the offender, and provide new practical suggestions with a view to finally concluding unsolved crimes.

Claim ExaminationInsurance fraud is an increasing problem and investigators are often misled when injuries are exaggerated or mental disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder or depression is feigned. False claims can also be found in the workplace; fabricated allegations of sexual, racial or religious harassment or intimidation between colleagues are, unfortunately, becoming more prevalent. Such incidents have a major negative impact on the workplace and stability of the whole workforce. By focusing on the behavioural aspects of the case, psychological statement analysis and the reliability of the claimant, we provide investigative suggestions and contribute to the truth finding process. Additionally a professional interview strategy advice is offered in order to successfully gather all the information required to eliminate or minimise fraud.
